Chief Guest Mr. Charles said “McDonald's is one of the best known and most recognizable brands in the world. It is our endeavor to support the sporting events in the sultanate. McDonald's is also offering a life-time experience at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa this year in an exclusive way , as they will get the chance to escort the world's best football players to the field prior to the last Quarter Final Day on the 3rd of July, 2010 '' This is where we invite children ages from 6 to 10 to come forward to register themselves in the Player Escort Program in all our McDonald's Restaurants - Muscat and Sohar'. There will be special Raffle Draw which is scheduled to take place on 1 April 2010 at McDonald's Qurum - CCC to determine the lucky winner to represent Sultanate of Oman' added CharlesThe Top performers of this tournament also got an Exclusive prize along with the medals. The refreshments to all the players served by the McDonald’s Oman.

McDonald’s Cricket cup Prize Distribution held in McDonald's Qurum
The Grand McDonald’s Cricket cup’s prizes and medals distribution was held at McDonald’s Qurum - CCC restaurant on Tuesday night, March 2, 2010. Chief Guest on this event is Mr. Christopher Charles, Market Manager McDonald’s Oman along with Mr Alwi Husein Al Hamid, Marketing & Training Manager were present to give away the Prizes to the winners and runners up. Mr Maher Saleem Khan Oman National Cricket Team Coach was also present to witness the Grand prize ceremony. The Organizers thanked the Sponsors for their generous support extended towards this cricket tournament and also thanked the Forty four teams for their participation in this biggest tournament of sultanate, including 6 Omani Cricket Teams. The Organizers also presented a Memento of Thanks to McDonald’s Oman as well as Mustafa Sultan exchange company for their continuous support to the cricket.
